Madison Keys stuns Aryna Sabalenka to win thrilling Australian Open final
Madison Keys caused an upset in the Australian Open final by defeating the No 1 seed Aryna Sabalenka 6-3, 2-6, 7-5 to win her first grand slam title.
Keys dethroned the champion to become the oldest first-time winner of the women’s singles title at Melbourne Park.

The American 19th seed showed no fear, attacking the Belarusian from the start and breaking her serve three times to win the first set in little time.
Sabalenka was aiming to win a third Australian Open title in a row and, after an error-strewn first set, showed her champion spirit to battle back with powerful ground strokes to take the second set 6-2.
But, with the deciding set at 6-5, the nerveleess Keys broke her opponent to win a thrilling final at Melbourne Park.
